'Jerk Oppa, i know you're busy but I have something important to tell you. Let's meet at the beach near my house.' Candace sent the message to Hyun Joong while crying.
Candace was waiting for Hyun Joong while sitting at the bench, she thought about the things that happen last few months. Everything seems so fast. Too fast that it is incomplete. So many things that Candace wants to do. Words that she want to tell Hyun Joong. Special times she want to spend with him. So much things, so little time.
"Hey!" said Hyun Joong puffing,"We had break from our practice so I ran here and so i try not to be late."
Candace look at Hyun Joong like she will see him for the last time.
"Why aren't you talking? I thought you have something important to tell me."said Hyun Joong looking at Candace with no response. "Is this about the magazine news? I'm fine. Really. My manager say it won't affect our group and tomorrow's concert."
Candace look away trying her best not to cry.
"Hey! Talk! What's wrong?" asked Hyun Joong.
"Jerk Oppa... I... I..." Candace cried before she can say it out.
"Why are you crying? I don't like it." said Hyun Joong wiping her tears away.
Candace calm down and took a deep breath,"We... We... cannot see each other anymore."
"Huh? What do you mean by we cannot see each other anymore?" asked Hyun Joong.
"I'm going back to Singapore. And i'm not coming back..."said Candace.
"Huh? Wha... What? Not coming back? Why are you going all of a sudden?" asked Hyun Joong.
"Its my dad's decision. I hope you can understand..." said Candace.
"Let me go speak to your dad... I'll convince him..." said Hyun Joong.
"No... Don't. I have made up my mind too.."said Candace.
"Made up your mind? You want to break up with me just like that?"asked Hyun Joong.
"I'm sorry..."said Candace standing up.
Hyun Joong grabbed Candace's hand and said,"No... We still can be together... We can make phone calls and we can e-mail... We still can be together..."
"No... we can't. It has been a mistake ever since the day we were together. Its all wrong..." said Candace.
"No its not!" said Hyun Joong.
"Yes it is! We're from two different worlds! You know it! Both of us know it, but we just don't want to face it..." said Candace.
Hyun Joong slowly letting go of Candace's hand.
"I'm leaving tomorrow and i just want to say thank you. Thank you for making these few months of my life happy. You can find someone better." said Candace. "I know i'm a person of many words but there is something i always want to tell you but never did.... I love you."
Candace ran while crying at the same time. Hyun Joong sighed and clenched his teeth. He ran forward to Candace and hugged her from behind. "I love you." he said.
Candace heart melt when hearing the three words but still she cleared her throat and whispered,"I'm sorry."
She pull his hands away and ran, leaving Hyun Joong behind.
When she reached home, she hide in her bed and cry her eyes out. She didn't know it will hurt so bad, but it did. "I'll never fall in love again." she thought.

"Candace! Wake up! You have a big competition today." said Selena.
"I know... I won't teacher down. Thats all i got think about. I must do well." said Candace.
"Its been hard on you. I know it hurts in your heart but this is reality. I'm sorry." said Selena.
"Its ok. I'm feeling better now."said Candace.
(At the competition hall)
"Nervous?" asked Mrs Lee.
"I'm ok." Candace, trying to get Hyun Joong's image out of her head, she keeps practicing Gayageum before its her turn to perform.
"Take a break. You haven't stopped playing for a few hours already." said Mrs Lee.
"I'm fine. I just need more practice." said Candace.
Just when its Candace turn to perform, she peeked out the curtains to see where is her family seated. She saw someone coming into the competition hall late and was seated way at the back. "The disguise... Its... Oh my god. Its Jerk Oppa?" she thought.
"Now, our next contestant, Candace Lee." they annouced. Everyone clapped. Candace was distracted by Hyun Joong. "Go now!" said Teacher. Candace nodded and walk out to the stage, she took a glimpse at Hyun Joong. "He came..."
Candace sighed and try to focus on Gayageum. While playing she thinks of the happy times where she and Hyun Joong are together. She smiled and she enjoyed playing. When she ended her song, everyone clapped enthusiastically. When she look at Hyun Joong, he's not there.
She sighed quietly. When it was time for results, Candace was shaking inside.
"And... the second place goes to... Candace Lee." they annouced.
"Oh my god! I'm in second! Oh my god!" Candace went up to take her prize.
After it was over, everyone looked happy except her dad. "Of course, to be the top of everything..." thought Candace.
"Great job, Honey!" said Mrs Lee. "Yeah! You were awesome!" said Selena.
"Thanks." said Candace.
"Dear, is there something who want to tell Candace?"asked Mrs Lee to Mr Lee.
"Good." said Mr Lee.
"I was expecting more, but its a good start." said Mrs Lee.
Just then, Candace notice a guy peeking at them. Its the same guy who sat at the back just now,"Jerk Oppa!" she thought.
"Candace, i know you are not happy about this but... we still have to go back to Singapore." said Mr Lee.
But when Candace wants to take a closer look, he's gone. Candace sighed with her eyes brimmed with tears. She nod and went to the airport.
On the way, Candace kept thinking of Hyun Joong and tears just flows out.
When approaching the departure hall, Candace couldn't stand it. She wanted to stay Korea and thats it.
"Dad. I want to stay." said Candace.
"Candace, i thought we had already talk about this." said Mr Lee.
"I know... But all i ever wanted is here." cried Candace.
"Candace, i'm bringing back you to Singapore is so to protect you, to take care of you..."said Mr Lee.
"I know, i know... But i'm 15 and i need to be independent. If i just go back to Singapore, i'll be a spoiled brat. I learn many things here. I learn to be happy too... I learn that i must be independent because no one is going to help me but myself. I work hard and i don't want to give up now." said Candace.
Mr Lee didn't say anything.
"I know its not right to say this at my age, but i learn to love someone. The push to make me work hard. And i learn to overcome obstacles. One important thing is, i learn that you push me cause you love me." said Candace.
Mr Lee nod and hugged Candace. He whispered to Candace.

(At SS501 Seoul concert)
SS501 just finished their concert.
"Woo! Great concert!" said Jung Min.
"Yeah! Love it! Never hear such screaming fans before!" said Kyu Jong.
"Haha. And to think that we all thought Hyun Joong won't come..." said Hyung Joon.
Hyun Joong was stoned at a corner.
"Don't mention..." said Young Saeng.
"Er... We are just going to have some drinks. Want to come?" asked Kyu Jong.
"Em.. Just a moment. I'll go to the second backstage to have some air..." said Hyun Joong.
"Ok... See you." said Jung Min.

Hyun Joong walked out to the backstage. Expecting no one to be there, Hyun Joong got a shocked when he saw a person. Its Candace.
"Told you, i'll be here to be a Green Pea." said Candace smiling.
Hyun Joong went up to Candace and hugged her and said,"And you'll always be my Green Pea."

EP 17
"They're coming! Run faster!" said Hyun Joong. "Hold my hands, you might get lost, there's too many people here."
"Not too fast! The faster we run, the faster they will run too!" said Candace.
A girl managed to catch up and grabbed Hyun Joong's shoulders and took out his sunglasses.
"Ahhhh! I was right! It is Kim Hyun Joong! Ahhhh!" shouted the girl.
"Oh no! Jerk Oppa, before more people see you, run! I'll handle the girls! Run!" Candace whispered.
"No! I'm not leaving behind again. I'm tired of us secretly dating!" said Hyun Joong.
"Jerk Oppa, Don't..." said Candace.
Hyun Joong turned to the crowd that is staring at him and said,"I'm telling everyone here, that I, Kim Hyun Joong is dating Candace Lee."
Conversation and gasps filled the mall. Everyone was staring at Candace and the fact that they are holding hands, some were taking pictures and videos.
"No. This is not happening! I cannot let this happen!"thought Candace.
Suddenly Candace laughed,"Hahaha. Very funny, Hyun Joong. Very funny." She turned to the crowd and said,"Hyun Joong here has just played a joke here. So not to worry. We're not dating, he's just my... my brother."
"Brother? Related brother? Why are you guys holding hands?" asked a girl.
"Kind of...related. And holding hands? Like i said we're close brothers and sisters." replied Candace.
Hyun Joong did not say anything but looked disappointed.
"Haha. Hyun Joong here, is really a great actor. All of you must be fooled by him. Hahaha." Candace laughter was really fake, leaving everyone in doubt.
After security came, the 'siblings' quickly left.
In the car, they did not say anything. Suddenly, Hyun Joong said,"Why did you tell everyone that we're not dating?"
"Cause i don't want to ruin your career because of me." said Candace.
"Why would this ruin my career?" asked Hyun Joong.
"Because when idols are dating a girl or guy you don't like, you would stop liking the idol too." said Candace.
"If my fans hate me because of the person i'm dating then what kind of fans are they?" asked Hyun Joong.
"Jerk Oppa... Since i already told them you played a joke then just... just... play along." said Candace.
"You keep asking me to play along, have you thought about how i feel? You didn't want to tell your parents that we're dating. You didn't want to tell my fans that we're dating. How long can we keep this secret? Are we going to go secret dating forever?" asked Hyun Joong.
"No! Thats not what i meant! When the time is right, i'll tell them." said Candace.
"Well, the time is going to be here soon. You're going to see our faces in magazines and newspapers tomorrow. Be prepared." said Hyun Joong.
"Ok..." said Candace.

It was 6.30am and someone was knocking on the door.
Candace ran out to the door and her parents were outside. Mr Lee slammed the magazine on the table, Candace jumped.
"What is this all about?!" asked Mr Lee.
Candace looked at the magazine, it was the news about her and Hyun Joong.
"This is... just... just..." Candace still thinking of another lie.
"I've asked someone to translate it. Candace, i want you to stop lying! You tell us he is your teacher, while the magazine says he is a idol star, here says you two are dating but you said you two are brothers and sisters. What is going on?!" shouted Mr Lee.
Candace bit her lower lip and didn't say anything.
"Candace Lee. Speak up now! Say the truth! Now!" shouted Mr Lee.
"Fine! We're dating! Happy?" asked Candace.
Mr Lee wanted to hit Candace with the magazine but Mrs Lee stopped him in time.
"What are you thinking?! We sent you here to study not to date some idol star! You're getting out of hand!" shouted Mr Lee.
"Can you stop shouting?! We don't want to sleep but the neighbors want to!" shouted Candace.
"Stop talking back! Do you want me to send you to the girl's home?!" asked Mr Lee.
"Whatever! I know you just can't stand the sight of me. You just want to get rid of me! All this years when did we ever sit down to talk? You never understand me! All you do is to scold, scold, scold!" shouted Candace.
"How are you going to learn if i don't scold you?! You're always talking back! Why can't you be more like your brother?!" shouted Mr Lee.
"There you go again! You are always comparing me to brother! You forced me to do things i don't like. All you do is to always push me! You never asked me what i want!" shouted Candace.
"I gave you everything! I gave you the best of all things!" shouted Mr Lee.
"But thats not what i want! I don't need a big, grand house! I don't need ten servants to serve me! I don't want branded clothes! I don't want to go to a school that i can't catch up with! I don't want the most expensive and tuition teacher who is useless! I don't want those, I don't want!" shouted Candace.
"Then what do you want?!" shouted Mr Lee.
"I want to be happy! I was never really happy..." Candace cried.
"I gave you so much... And you're still not happy?" asked Mr Lee.
"Money can't buy you happiness. Because you gave me so much and you expected i gave you back the same amount. I'm sorry but i just can't do it!" cried Candace.
"I never expect you to give me back anything..." said Mr Lee.
"Yes you do! You expected to be the top student. Top in everything!" Candace cried.
Mr Lee sighed and said,"Enough talk. You're going back to Singapore with me tomorrow the first thing in the morning."
"What? No! I have a competition coming up! Please dad, please. Let me stay..." cried Candace.
"No. I can't leave you here. You're going back to Singapore." said Mr Lee.
"Dad... Please. I can't disappoint teacher. Please. I'm begging you ok?" Candace cried.
"No! I made up my mind. We're leaving tomorrow!" said Mr Lee.
"Dad. You asked me what i really want. And i want to stay." said Candace.
"No. I can buy you anything else in this world, but you cannot stay here anymore." said Mr Lee.
"You see?! Its about money again! Why are you always like that? Please let me stay. I worked really hard for it." said Candace.
Seeing that her dad had really made up his mind, she cried,"Fine. I'll leave tomorrow. Only after the competition."
Mr Lee nod and left.

Candace walked to the door and saw her parents, her jaw dropped.
"Hi honey! Surprised?" asked Mrs Lee.
"Wha... Why did you guys come?" asked Candace.
"Why? Don't you like us coming?" asked Mrs Lee.
"No, no. I'm just... really surprised." said Candace.
"We were thinking that we can only see you when you come back during your next holiday, and since we only see you for 1 day, i think it would nice if we come here for our holiday and to see you at the same time." said Mrs Lee.
"Oh. Em... Come in and sit." said Candace.
Looking at the house, Mrs Lee said,"Oh... Its a nice house, but a little small don't you think?"
"Its too small, how can you even live in this here in the first place? I'll buy a bigger apartment for you here..." said Mr Lee.
"Its fine. I like it the way it is. I don't wan to move..." said Candace.
"No. This won't do." said Mr Lee.
"Its fine! I like it here!" said Candace.
"Dear, since Candace like it here then lets not force her ok?" said Mrs Lee to her husband. "And lets not force you two into a fight again."
"Fine... What about the project? Are you doing it well?" asked Mr Lee.
"Huh? Project?" asked Selena.
"Oh! Selena, you don't remember? The project..." Candace trying to give Selena a hint.
"Ahh.... Yeah, yeah. Project... It's doing great" Selena nod her head.
"Em... So where are you guys living?" asked Candace trying to change the subject.
"Oh. At this hotel here." said Mrs Lee show Candace the brochure.
Just then, the door bell ring again.
"Wow. Do we have so many guest today or what?" asked Selena.
"Em... I'll go see." said Candace.
Candace opened the door and Hyun Joong was standing outside.
"Hey! You ok? You look pale." asked Hyun Joong.
"Oh my god. Oh my god. You better go. Now." said Candace trying to push Hyun Joong away.
"Huh? Go?" asked Hyun Joong.
"Honey? What's taking you so long?" asked Mrs Lee.
"Oh. Nothing! I'll be right back!" said Candace.
"Quick! My parents are here! Go! Now!" said Candace.
"Who's there?" asked Mrs Lee walking to the door and saw Hyun Joong.
"Oh, hello." said Mrs Lee to Hyun Joong. "Who's is this?" Mrs Lee asked Candace.
"He is... is... my... Em... I mean my... Teacher..." Candace said randomly.
"Teacher? Oh, he's your teacher?" asked Mrs Lee.
"Yeah... My teacher." Candace lied.
"What is your teacher doing here?" asked Mr Lee.
"He... is here to... help us with our project." Candace said.
"Oh... Can i ask your teacher a few questions first?" asked Mrs Lee.
"I guess so... I can translate, i guess." said Candace.
While walking to the living room, Candace whispered to Hyun Joong,"My parents think you're my teacher, play along!"
"What?!" shouted Hyun Joong.
"What did he say?" asked Mrs Lee.
"He said... Hello." Candace said.
"Oh. Hello. So teacher, how is Candace at school?" asked Mrs Lee.
"My mum asked how am i in school." Candace translate.
"Candace is a very naughty girl in school," Hyun Joong joked.
"Jerk Oppa!" shouted Candace.
"Candace! Why are you shouting to teacher like that?!" asked Mr Lee.
"Er... No, no. My voice is a little loud not shouting..." Candace said, glaring at Hyun Joong.
"So what did he say?" asked Mrs Lee.
"He said... I'm ok... Good." said Candace.
Mrs Lee nod and said,"I guess its time for us to go."
"Go? And leave the two girls with a male teacher?" asked Mr Lee.
"We're ok. Not to worry." said Selena.
After Mr and Mrs Lee left, Candace glare at Hyun Joong.
"What?" asked Hyun Joong.
"You're lucky my parents don't understand Korean, if not i'm so dead and you'll be the one dead next." said Candace folding her arms.
"I was just kidding..." said Hyun Joong.
Just then Candace phone rings.
"Hello?" Candace said.
"Hello? Candace? Teacher here. I want to inform you that i have just enter you into a competition." said Teacher.
"Really? But i'm not prepared..." said Candace.
"I'm sure you can do it. You were overseas and i can't reach you. You have only three days left. Be sure to practice well." said Teacher hanging up the phone.
"Did the tigress call?" asked Hyun Joong.
"Yeah. Wait, Teacher is not tigress! She says she is entering me into a competition. I've only three days left. I'm so dead!" said Candace.
"Four days? Thats the day when our concert is in Seoul." said Hyun Joong.
"Really? Oh man! I can't be a Green Pea if i never go to this concert!" said Candace.
"Its ok. We still can celebrate after your competition and my concert... Remember you will always be my Green Pea." said Hyun Joong.
Candace smiled and Selena said,"Ugh. Can't watch this anymore, you guys are getting grosser by the minute."
They laughed and Hyun Joong asid,"Come on, its time to go shopping the time we didn't complete."
"Huh? Shopping? At the same mall? I don't think its a good idea. What if the group of girls is there again?" asked Candace.
"Don't worry, they won't be there. Promise." said Hyun Joong.

"Jerk Oppa, you're breaking your promise. The familiar group of girls seems to be there." said Candace.
"I think they spotted us. Run!" said Hyun Joong.

Hyun Joong keep having Candace's voice ringing in his head, he couldn't bare to leave her there. So he ran back, but when Hyun Joong saw Candace and Jordan together, he wanted to leave.
Candace ran towards him and said,"Jerk Oppa! It really is you! You came all the way here to see me?"
Hyun Joong didn't say anything.
"Jerk Oppa! You came back to see me but when you saw me and Jordan, you still think that something is going on between us? Why don't you ever believe me?!" shouted Candace.

It was Sunday evening 6pm and Candace was busy preparing for Hyun Joong to come for the dinner at her house. Selena had left them alone so not to disturb them.
Soon, it was 7.30pm and Candace had finish preparing the food already, waiting for the arrival of Hyun Joong.
It was 7.45pm, Hyun Joong is still not here.
"Why is he always late?!" thought Candace.
Just then, her phone vibrated. It was a message from Hyun Joong. 'Something happened, i can't make it for the dinner tonight, i'll explain.'
Candace fuming upon seeing the message, after all the hard work preparing for the dinner, he say he couldn't come.
"Ugh!" Candace shouted throwing her phone on the sofa.
She looked at the food she made, she had already lost her appetite.
Candace sighed and left her house for a walk down at her house and to have some fresh air.
While walking along her neighborhood, she came to the beach. There were some couples there making her think of Hyun Joong. She sighed and quickly walk away.
Suddenly she saw a couple sitting down on a bench and the guy look like Hyun Joong.
Candace took a closer look. It is Hyun Joong! Then who the girl beside him?! She took a step forward, the girl was lying on Hyun Joong's shoulders.
"Its... its... Chae Rim?!" thought Candace. She was confused, "What?! Why would Chae Rim be with Hyun Joong and lying on his shoulders?!"
"Wha... What should i do? Why did Hyun Joong do this to me?! Why?! Ugh!" thought Candace.
She feel tears coming, she tried to hold it back. She calm herself down and think properly,"Ok... Calm down. Maybe its not like that. Maybe i've seen the wrong person."
She wipe her tears from her eyes and took a deep breath. She look at the couple again. There's no more doubt. It is them. She clenched her fist and bit her lower lip, she wanted to go up to them and have a big fight. But when she took her first step, she hesitated.
"Ugh!" Candace said. She couldn't do it. She turned and walk back to her house. Tears keep come down even when Candace tries to stop them.
"Ahhhhh!" Candace shouted, letting her anger out.
She sat on the sofa, hugging the pillow. Trying to keep her mind blank but the image of Hyun Joong keeps coming out.
An hour past and Candace was still sitting on the sofa.
'Knock knock' someone's at the door but Candace did not response.
The person knocked again, Candace ignored.
'Click' the door was opened. It was Hyun Joong.
"Hey... The door was open so i came in." said Hyun Joong.
Candace did not reply.
"Sorry i can't make it to dinner. But i still can eat now right?" asked Hyun Joong.
Seeing that Candace is ignoring him, Hyun Joong asked,"You ok?"
There was silence.
"Hello? I'm talking to you! Hey! Thick-skinned kid!" shouted Hyun Joong.
Hyun Joong soon notices Candace's red eyes.
"Are you crying?" asked Hyun Joong reaching out for Candace's shoulders.

"You are the who's wrong!" shouted Candace.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" asked Hyun Joong.
"Stop this act already! I saw everything! You don't have to pretend." shouted Candace.

"I saw you with... with... Chae Rim! She was lying on your shoulders! I saw it with my own eyes!" shouted Candace.

"Couples are suppose to trust each other! You keep talking about my faults! What about you and that Jordan guy?!" shouted Hyun Joong.

"Then how many times must a say that Chae Rim and i are friends?!"shouted Hyun Joong.

Candace squat down on the floor and buried her head in her body. Tears start flowing. Hyun Joong is out of her life.
The next few days, she accompanied Jordan to visit Korea. However, when she came to the place where she and Hyun Joong came before, she starts to miss Hyun Joong uncontrollably.
Candace and Jordan sat on the bench where she and Hyun Joong sat before. She thought about the conversation they had when they were sitting here.
Deep in thought, Jordan asked,"Candace? You listening to what i'm saying?"
"Yeah... Em... You are talking about ants right?" asked Candace.
"I was talking about my aunts," said Jordan.
"Oh... Sorry. I was distracted and thinking about something else..." said Candace.

Back in the days when you were still in Singapore, i didn't treasure you as much as i'm suppose to... Now that we're separated, i really missed you."

"Your brother said you had a crush on me, i was shocked when i first hear it, but i think i'm feeling the same thing now. Do you want to start fresh with me?" asked Jordan.
