My Green Pea Ep 18

-EP 18(Last ep)-

'Jerk Oppa, i know you're busy but I have something important to tell you. Let's meet at the beach near my house.' Candace sent the message to Hyun Joong while crying.

Candace was waiting for Hyun Joong while sitting at the bench, she thought about the things that happen last few months. Everything seems so fast. Too fast that it is incomplete. So many things that Candace wants to do. Words that she want to tell Hyun Joong. Special times she want to spend with him. So much things, so little time.

"Hey!" said Hyun Joong puffing,"We had break from our practice so I ran here and so i try not to be late."

Candace look at Hyun Joong like she will see him for the last time.

"Why aren't you talking? I thought you have something important to tell me."said Hyun Joong looking at Candace with no response. "Is this about the magazine news? I'm fine. Really. My manager say it won't affect our group and tomorrow's concert."

Candace look away trying her best not to cry.

"Hey! Talk! What's wrong?" asked Hyun Joong.

"Jerk Oppa... I... I..." Candace cried before she can say it out.

"Why are you crying? I don't like it." said Hyun Joong wiping her tears away.

Candace calm down and took a deep breath,"We... We... cannot see each other anymore."

"Huh? What do you mean by we cannot see each other anymore?" asked Hyun Joong.

"I'm going back to Singapore. And i'm not coming back..."said Candace.

"Huh? Wha... What? Not coming back? Why are you going all of a sudden?" asked Hyun Joong.

"Its my dad's decision. I hope you can understand..." said Candace.

"Let me go speak to your dad... I'll convince him..." said Hyun Joong.

"No... Don't. I have made up my mind too.."said Candace.

"Made up your mind? You want to break up with me just like that?"asked Hyun Joong.

"I'm sorry..."said Candace standing up.

Hyun Joong grabbed Candace's hand and said,"No... We still can be together... We can make phone calls and we can e-mail... We still can be together..."

"No... we can't. It has been a mistake ever since the day we were together. Its all wrong..." said Candace.

"No its not!" said Hyun Joong.

"Yes it is! We're from two different worlds! You know it! Both of us know it, but we just don't want to face it..." said Candace.

Hyun Joong slowly letting go of Candace's hand.

"I'm leaving tomorrow and i just want to say thank you. Thank you for making these few months of my life happy. You can find someone better." said Candace. "I know i'm a person of many words but there is something i always want to tell you but never did.... I love you."

Candace ran while crying at the same time. Hyun Joong sighed and clenched his teeth. He ran forward to Candace and hugged her from behind. "I love you." he said.

Candace heart melt when hearing the three words but still she cleared her throat and whispered,"I'm sorry."

She pull his hands away and ran, leaving Hyun Joong behind.

When she reached home, she hide in her bed and cry her eyes out. She didn't know it will hurt so bad, but it did. "I'll never fall in love again." she thought.

"Candace! Wake up! You have a big competition today." said Selena.

"I know... I won't teacher down. Thats all i got think about. I must do well." said Candace.

"Its been hard on you. I know it hurts in your heart but this is reality. I'm sorry." said Selena.

"Its ok. I'm feeling better now."said Candace.

(At the competition hall)

"Nervous?" asked Mrs Lee.

"I'm ok." Candace, trying to get Hyun Joong's image out of her head, she keeps practicing Gayageum before its her turn to perform.

"Take a break. You haven't stopped playing for a few hours already." said Mrs Lee.

"I'm fine. I just need more practice." said Candace.

Just when its Candace turn to perform, she peeked out the curtains to see where is her family seated. She saw someone coming into the competition hall late and was seated way at the back. "The disguise... Its... Oh my god. Its Jerk Oppa?" she thought.

"Now, our next contestant, Candace Lee." they annouced. Everyone clapped. Candace was distracted by Hyun Joong. "Go now!" said Teacher. Candace nodded and walk out to the stage, she took a glimpse at Hyun Joong. "He came..."

Candace sighed and try to focus on Gayageum. While playing she thinks of the happy times where she and Hyun Joong are together. She smiled and she enjoyed playing. When she ended her song, everyone clapped enthusiastically. When she look at Hyun Joong, he's not there.

She sighed quietly. When it was time for results, Candace was shaking inside.

"And... the second place goes to... Candace Lee." they annouced.

"Oh my god! I'm in second! Oh my god!" Candace went up to take her prize.
After it was over, everyone looked happy except her dad. "Of course, to be the top of everything..." thought Candace.

"Great job, Honey!" said Mrs Lee. "Yeah! You were awesome!" said Selena.

"Thanks." said Candace.

"Dear, is there something who want to tell Candace?"asked Mrs Lee to Mr Lee.

"Good." said Mr Lee.

"I was expecting more, but its a good start." said Mrs Lee.

Just then, Candace notice a guy peeking at them. Its the same guy who sat at the back just now,"Jerk Oppa!" she thought.

"Candace, i know you are not happy about this but... we still have to go back to Singapore." said Mr Lee.

But when Candace wants to take a closer look, he's gone. Candace sighed with her eyes brimmed with tears. She nod and went to the airport.

On the way, Candace kept thinking of Hyun Joong and tears just flows out.
When approaching the departure hall, Candace couldn't stand it. She wanted to stay Korea and thats it.

"Dad. I want to stay." said Candace.

"Candace, i thought we had already talk about this." said Mr Lee.

"I know... But all i ever wanted is here." cried Candace.

"Candace, i'm bringing back you to Singapore is so to protect you, to take care of you..."said Mr Lee.

"I know, i know... But i'm 15 and i need to be independent. If i just go back to Singapore, i'll be a spoiled brat. I learn many things here. I learn to be happy too... I learn that i must be independent because no one is going to help me but myself. I work hard and i don't want to give up now." said Candace.

Mr Lee didn't say anything.

"I know its not right to say this at my age, but i learn to love someone. The push to make me work hard. And i learn to overcome obstacles. One important thing is, i learn that you push me cause you love me." said Candace.

Mr Lee nod and hugged Candace. He whispered to Candace.

(At SS501 Seoul concert)

SS501 just finished their concert.

"Woo! Great concert!" said Jung Min.

"Yeah! Love it! Never hear such screaming fans before!" said Kyu Jong.

"Haha. And to think that we all thought Hyun Joong won't come..." said Hyung Joon.

Hyun Joong was stoned at a corner.

"Don't mention..." said Young Saeng.

"Er... We are just going to have some drinks. Want to come?" asked Kyu Jong.

"Em.. Just a moment. I'll go to the second backstage to have some air..." said Hyun Joong.

"Ok... See you." said Jung Min.

(At second backstage)

Hyun Joong walked out to the backstage. Expecting no one to be there, Hyun Joong got a shocked when he saw a person. Its Candace.

"Told you, i'll be here to be a Green Pea." said Candace smiling.

Hyun Joong went up to Candace and hugged her and said,"And you'll always be my Green Pea."
